    In this session, Sean Zhang, the Partner at Roland Berger, shared his valuable insights on Clean energy trends and opportunities in China. The trends in the industry are the 4Ds - which are Deregulation, Decarbonization, Decentralization, Digitalization. The power sector, wind, and photovoltaïque (PV) will dominate the capacity additions and occupy 80% of the market share in 2060. Sean Zhang also shared the leading Chinese PV manufacturers who will lead the industry, the lithium battery market insights, and many more.

The industry leaders sat down to discuss the opportunities and challenges in the sustainability and recyclability of EV batteries.     To end the 5-day learning multiplex event, Benoit Guidée, Consul Général de Shanghai, and Eric Deltour, the Co-president at La French Tech Shanghai - shared their closing remarks. At this session, Benoit Guidée reiterates China's global ambitions, the pool of talents, and source of innovation. Although the relationship between China and France remains strong, Guidée advises entrepreneurs to be agile and prepared.

    Eric Deltour reinstates the learning points on the speed of change, importance of partnerships in China, and the story behind the Next Tech China program supported by La French Tech. The organization started in October 2019 with an objective to introduce the most promising French startups (FT120 and Green20) to the Chinese market risks and opportunities. Throughout the week - there are over 930 participants attended this hybrid learning multiplex event in Paris, Shanghai, Beijing, and globally.
